Love is grooving on
The other person
And wondering who
that person really is?
And not knowing,
and not knowing more,
and delighting
in the partial discoveries
and delighting in the mysteries
and delighting in the wrong guesses
and listening and watching and waiting
and wondering
and listening some more
Love ain't
Knowing who this other is,
having it all figured out,
especially in the judgmental box
And trying to squeeze the other person into that
Box
